Unwelcome in My Garden

Everyone had different ideas of what they want their garden to be, but I’m big on this: everything I grow should make food.

And also not destroy my garage.

So, here is my first intended victim:

This poor little tree is way, way too close the garage.  It actually grows out from under the lip of the building.  We talked about relocating it when it was much smaller but never got around to the hassle, and now… it’s doomed.

Sorry.  You are a very cute little tree, but when we look under there you’re messing with the foundation.

Then there’s this:

It’s hard to see, but this is a sprig of a peony bush.

One that I painstakingly dug out and gifted to my best friend’s mother.  Who no longer lives nearby.

Sorry.  You came back after I attempted to evict you.  You’re going.  I’ll ask my mother nicely if she wants you first, but we’re done.

What do you visualize in your garden?  Are there any plants you’re planning to remove?  Do you have someone to gift them to?  Inquiring minds want to know!

  1. I would love to have the Peony bush and transplant it into our garden here. We’ll get together and dig it up. Love mom
