Bob’s Bitchin’ BBQ

Okay, so this is as much swearing as this blog’s going to get!  And only because it is the actual name of this business.

We had our year-end work meeting in Dodgeville this year, and we ate at Bob’s Bitchin’ BBQ!  This involved quite a hike for everyone, but we got to see our Janesville counterparts that we only ever email and rarely speak to in person which was quite nice!

Halfway through our meeting we went to Bob’s Bitchin’ BBQ for lunch, and it was amazingly good!  I had the original BBQ on beef brisket, and it was delicious.  I also tried the Razzberry BBQ sauce which turned out to be pretty much just jam.  It was really good, but strange to eat it with my fries.

My coworkers tried the other types, and consensus was that none of it was particularly spicy, but it was all delicious!  They have trays with squeeze bottles of every type of sauce at each table, so it was fun to try things out.

Prices were reasonable, but seating is first come first serve – no reservations.

I’m definitely interested in going back again!  No affiliate links, and no I’m not sponsored.  Just happy to find a great place to eat. *smile*

Do you like BBQ?  What interesting (and delicious!) restaurants are local to your area?  Inquiring minds want to know!

  1. That all sounds amazing – I live for BBQ! We’ve got a place in South Florida called “Troy’s BBQ” that’s been around forever and their ribs are so good that it defies all logic. Nothing on Earth tastes as good. It’s better than any BBQ I’ve had in the Deep South. They have a big smoker out back of the restaurant that they fire up before dawn and keep burning all day. A real down home, family run place. You can eat off one of their dinners for at least three days!

    1. That sounds amazing! I’m not a huge BBQ fan, but I really enjoy it when I do have it, and family run restaurants are The Best. *smile*
