We put in two tire raised beds finally – we’re growing dill in them:
Chives are happy, like usual and I tried out Japanese Buckwheat and sesame in the trough:
You can tell our Maple trees are sending whirlygigs down!
Peas are happy, some beans coming in:
Onions, carrots, leeks, and radishes all growing, but I have to weed:
Birds ate all my blueberries! *sob*
I put dixie cups around the herbs in my herb bed to try and protect them some. And so I don’t ‘weed’ them since I’m not as familiar with how they look:
Squash, watermelon, and cantaloupe:
There’s a few asparagus in there.
Lastly, my tomatoes:
We’ll see how they go – they aren’t real happy.
All of these photos tell me I need to weed so bad!
How is your garden going? What have you planted so far? Inquiring minds want to know!
Ate my first garden grown tomato on Tuesday. I was given some tomato seedlings at church from a friend and three plants survived the winter in my living room window. At 3 1/2 feet tall the plants started having flowers inside the house so I played bee and tried to pollinate the flowers with a paintbrush. It must have worked because I ate my first tomato this week. I put the plants outside 2 1/2 weeks ago. Looking forward to more tomatoes.
Did you get a chance to plant the ones I sent you?
Slowly working on it between rain showers.
