How I’m Doing and Writing Updates

Mom passed, and I spent most of three months in a dark place, but I’m finally bouncing back and having days where I can function again. I’ve been in survival mode, focusing on keeping myself fed, my space livable, and my workplace going. I’m finally perking up, reading more than comfort books, actually cooking, cleaning, and bathing. These last two evenings I’ve been running and folding three months’ worth of laundry.

In writing news, the second book in my ‘Star-Bound Court’ trilogy, ‘Captured Pawn’ has gone through the first round of edits, gone to the editor, and came back. I’m working on those edits now. Yes, I put a pre-order up, pushed as far out as possible in January of next year, but I expect to release no later than September. The first push is reading through all of the edits and going page by page and both flagging fixes and making a list of bigger fixes to split out by scene and write in.

I’m also drafting ‘Hard Reset’ which is a Zombie Post Apoc Reverse Harem. To hit my drafting deadline, I need to do about 300 words a day.

My Personal Assistant is from Australia, and she will be practicing her voice actress skills on my novels, so I’m hoping we’ll have non AI versions of my novels, albeit in the cutest accent ever.

I’ve been filming in preparation for doing some Face Content on Tiktok and making slide shows too.

I’ve also been working on updating my website for the first time since my husband shattered his leg. Baby steps with the little bits of motivation I get, and I hope to go back to posting once a week on the website.

I also am working on putting out at least one newsletter each month.

So, I’m moving forward again, and I appreciate you waiting. <3

  3. His leg is healed enough that he’s walking without the cane most of the time now! He only needs it when it’s sore. Dogs are cuties and this week’s post is actually about them XD I did get your new sub, thank you!
