So, I’m having a sick day, but that doesn’t mean no post! I’ve decided on days that I’m struggling, I’ll post interesting comics and YouTube Channels and other such fun for you to check out.
And today’s YouTube Channel is: The Brain Scoop.
This is Emily Graslie’s channel, and to quote her About page:
I’m Emily, the Chief Curiosity Correspondent of The Field Museum in Chicago, former volunteer of the University of Montana Zoological Museum, and I’d like to share some of the amazing things we have in the collection with the Internet!
I find her ADORABLE.
The Wiki page for her goes into a bit more detail on how she began, but I first saw her when she did her wolf dissection. My husband showed me her channel, and we were immediately enamored with her. She’s enthusiastic and articulate and charming, and it’s just so much fun to watch her!
I’ll admit I don’t really watch her dissections, but if you want to she does rate the grossness so you can be a bit prepared.
She covers a bit of everything, and I hope you’ll find her as interesting as I do! *smile*
Have you watched her videos before? Do you have a favorite science YouTube channel that you watch? Inquiring minds want to know!
