We FINALLY Own a Snow Blower

We woke up this morning to this:

There’s a sort of hush when snow is coming down and deep like this.  It’s lovely, but as the day goes on you hear snow blowers starting, people shoveling, the snow plow.

My husband does most of the shoveling, though I try to help.  I herniated a disc in my back in 2013, and while I’ve mostly recovered, he is cautious about me doing anything to make it worse.

It meant that I’d sit inside and listen to him shovel and feel all sorts of guilty.

Well, that’s changed.

My uncle, who lived near Madison, WI, has packed his house and moved to Arizona.  We helped a bit with packing and cleaning and loading, and he gifted us with his snow blower.

It’s lovely.  (Of course, I didn’t think to take a photo of it while it was out!)  It’s electric and weighs almost nothing.

I spent a good portion of the day today pushing it around and learning how to use it.

It was AMAZING.

So, thank you to my uncle!

The snow fall this morning had almost no wind, and so we ended up with trees like this:

It’s lovely, but the day must go on!

Does it snow where you are?  What type of winter weather do you have?  Inquiring minds want to know!  *smile*
