My job rents space in a Tech College, and the Tech College was closed the week of July 4th… so I had nowhere to work unless I wanted to drive over an hour to outreach.
I didn’t want to drive over an hour to outreach.
So I used vacation time (I mean, HOW COOL IS IT that I have vacation time? I’ve never had it before…) to take the week off.
Sounds wonderful, right?
Well it would be… if I hadn’t drank. Because drinking makes me swing depressed, and swinging depressed makes me despondent that last three days of vacation. So that was a mistake. The rest was amazing though!
It should only take a few days to recover, like I’ve said before: my swings are fast, usually lasting no more than 2 1/2 weeks.
But I DID manage to have a lot of fun and sleep in EVERY DAY which was THE BEST.
How was your Fourth of July? Did you have fun? We burned Morning Glories, drank, and ate burgers with my parents, and it was a ton of fun!
