My Cover Mock Up!

So, the release date for my novel has been moved from June 15th to July 15th due to work due date conflicts, but I’m still puttering along with it.

Here you can see my progress with no spoilers:

You can see on the right that I’ve revised 7 of 15 chapters, and on the left you can see the scenes that have been listed complete, 1-34. The scene below, 35 is the one I’m working on right now.

It’s a decent length:

I write short in my first draft, and that draft was 73,000 words or so. Currently in revisions, halfway through, I’ve added 22,000 words or so, and I expect it to be somewhere between 110,000 and 120,000 words.

So, that’s where it stands as of today.

And now, what you’re really interested in: the cover mock up!

I took the original artwork I commission and used a website called Book Brush to mock up the cover. Take a look!

This is the paperback version.

IT’S SO PRETTY. I cried when I looked at it the morning after finishing it.

So exciting!

And now I’m off to do that thing I need to do to publish… you know, revising.
