Our first day going out and about in South Dakota, we went on a Black Hills Gold Jewelry Tour at Mt. Rushmore Black Hills Gold Factory.

No. Pictures were not allowed due to security.
BUT, it took us through the whole process from designing the jewelry on one end all the way to the completed piece resting in the staff’s fingers.
It was SO COOL.
I had no idea there was so much involved in making a ring.
So, should you go?
Absolutely. The tour is free, and they didn’t pressure us to buy anything. The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, so 10/10 would recommend.
