I found my very first chicken egg – a bantam egg so far as I can tell, and as of last night I was up to 17 eggs!
Which is fantastic.
And then I had a back spasm while putting them away after taking a photo and dropped the smaller carton.
So I had an omelet.
It looks like our Polish Wyndette is a girl because there are standard sized eggs coming out of the bantam coop, and she’s the only standard in there.
Super stoked.
I have a little heart and paw stamp for them and a date stamper. 😀
Yes, they’re kind of messy, I didn’t catch that they were laying right away.
Fiora is our Easter Egger, and she has laid three pretty green eggs!
