My car has been violently starting lately… shaking and shuddering and sounding downright awful. It’s especially bad since the cold weather started.
So I finally brought it in to the shop, and my husband was wonderful and drove me to work Thursday and Friday.
Turns out a gasket wasn’t sealing, so it was tricking the system into thinking it was running lean, and it would try to compensate… hence the awful noises!
But they have it fixed now, and it was only ~$400 which we had in the car repairs fund. (It was all we had in the car repairs fund, but at least we had it!)
We brought it home yesterday, and it’s sounding much better. Here’s to hoping that’s all it is! *smile*
