Save, Save, SAVE!

We’re expecting financial difficulties – I’ve mentioned before that I am a Project position AND that I need accommodations to work.

Well, there’s been a lot of upheaval, so it’s likely that my position won’t be renewed.  Add to this, the fact that I can only work a 32 hour week BUT ALSO need to have benefits to get my meds so I CAN work… and you’ll see why I’m stressed.  There aren’t exactly many positions out there I can work.

So we’re cutting back to crisis spending and are going to try to squat on every penny I make until things settle out.

We have lived under my husband’s income alone before… we just have to do it again!  But it had gotten really nice to be able to buy snacks and books and games and occasionally LuLaRoe shirts… so now it’s going to be an adjustment.  Especially the books.

Also, it means I have to meal prep more instead of going to the cafeteria at work!  I don’t like my own cooking, which makes this hard.

Add to this the fact that my car still needs imminent repairs… it’s going to be rough.

Where do you look first to cut spending?  Are you Keto, and if you are how do you cut spending there?  What do you do to prepare for a job loss?  Inquiring minds want to know!
