Why don’t I remember to bring my camera with me when I go places?!? Whyyyyyy?!?
We had a heavy snowfall here over two days, and this is the only photo I managed to take of it:
This is the first evening. My husband beat me to the snow shoveling, which I wasn’t surprised about because my back is always a concern. I texted my uncle who had gifted us with a snow blower and thanked him.
The next morning, the sun was out and EVERYTHING was coated in about an inch of snow.
It was stunning.
I imagine that’s what was being described in the term ‘Winter Wonderland’.
I hadn’t brought my camera, so I didn’t get any photos, and I was kicking myself all the the way to work.
Winter is truly here, first with this snowfall and then these last few days with -20 degrees Fahrenheit weather, rising to barely above 0 degrees in the warmest part of the day.
I went shopping and bought a new bag of sunflower seeds for the birds. Weather like this is hard on them, and the deep snow means they can’t easily find food, so I put seeds out, scattering them everywhere, and put out a suet block.
