I planted Nanking Cherries several years ago, and while they bloomed last year, a late frost killed all of the blossoms.
This year though, I have cherries!
I crawled around under them, and this is about a third of what’s in there. I left what wasn’t ripe to ripen, obviously.

It’s not a lot, and they’re tiny, but I’m so excited!
Most are smaller than my fingernails.
How do I pit cherries this small?!?
I’ll take some pits to plant please!!
I saved them, and I plan to plant a bunch to see if I can get them to grow. 🙂
Are you going to take the netting off so the birds get to clean out what’s l
eft??
Not yet – I’ll pull at least a second harvest off before I do. I only picked about 1/3 of what was there.
