I’ve mentioned it before, but my husband has huge gut issues. He appears to have Celiac’s and almost certainly a corn allergy/intolerance, but no matter how careful we are with his food, he just keeps getting sicker.
I mean, he’s down to rice, peas, and eggs. It’s that dire. And if he so much as adds one snack in, BAM! He’s sick and miserable with awful gut distress.
I’ve been learning Keto, and I really like it. (Which, I might note, is on hold until I’m done with the Celiac’s test… wheat is not Keto, and only wheat will catch that test so… it’s on hold.) And I’ve tried to make a case for my husband eating Keto.
I’d also been looking at Carnivore Keto for my husband to just plain cut EVERYTHING that could be making him sick from his diet.
But then he found the Don’t Eat That! blog by Mikhaila Peterson, and this actually piqued his interest. She follows an extreme version of Carnivore Keto, and it has improved her life immensely.
So we’re looking at both of us switching to Carnivore Keto to see if that will help. And perfect timing, I guess, because I bought a Sous Vide Precision Cooker so I’ll get to try that out as soon as it arrives~! (This is totally an affiliate link, just so you know. If you use this link to go to Amazon and shop for anything at all, I will make money and stuff. It won’t cost you anything.) I’ve read great reviews on this type of item, and since we’ll be cooking a lot of meat and I’m not that great at cooking, I wanted to get one. I’ll let you know how it goes!
I’m super excited about making this change!
Do you follow Keto? Have you tried Carnivore Keto? What advice do you have? Inquiring minds want to know!
