Friday Garden Update

I think I need to consolidate my gardening posts into ONE post a week, so I’m working on that, and I am to drop them on Fridays.

Here’s my garden photos!

Strawberries looking good:

Green onions almost ready to pick:

Happy Chives!

Tomato beds have some flowers on them now!

Lots of peppers and basil in those last two.

My blackberries are growing everywhere but where I want them to, so I’ll be relocating their efforts.

Where I WANT them to grow:

More escapees:

Grapes!

Buckwheat and amaranth bed:

Some giant sunflower starts:

My greenstalks are doing AMAZING!

The first is mostly carrots and radishes, but none of the radishes bulbed, so I’ll be pulling them to give the carrots space I think.

More strawberries that I netted to protect:

The three sisters: corn, beans, and squash complete with support rings for the beans and squash.

Peas and a variety of veggies planted in with them:

Root vegetables in this one for the most part:

Greens that do NOT include lettuce:

And then the front and back of my lettuce! It really took off, and I’ll be harvesting this week I think.

My Nanking Cherry bushes have cherries!

The apple trees have finished blooming and are working on making apples:

And last of all, the apricot trees have tiny green apricots on them!

Not included, my straw bales which have nothing live in them right now and the current bush which is dripping with current starts. I forgot to take a photo of the bush.

How is your garden going?

  1. Your lettuce is very good. I was able to cut some on Sunday after church was done. Tuesday is really hot and it may bolt. Thank you for sharing. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
