My mother-in-law went into surgery on last Tuesday for a Basilar Aneurysm that was about 7mm long. She was supposed to go in in the morning, but didn’t start until 1pm, and didn’t finish until around around 6pm. It went well. She stayed in the hospital overnight and went home the next day.

I was going ABSOLUTELY INSANE though. I was supposed to be on the texted updates group, but I only got one in the morning and then nothing.
I was climbing the walls I was so worried.
But I got home, and my husband had been getting them all day, and everything was fine, so that’s amazing.
Hooray for modern medicine!
